Beautiful interiors

Since 1988
Since 1988, the owner of Woven, formerly Upholstery Plus Fabrics, Christine Becker, has been in the upholstery business and has owned upholstery workshops in both the Houston and Galveston areas. Now a Galveston resident, she strives for the highest quality and total satisfaction from her many clients and has helped numerous Hurricane Ike victims restore their furniture back to what it was while being personally affected by the storm.
Since then, she has taken on many new projects around Galveston including the reupholstering of several pieces for the Texas A&M Galveston Library and the Captain’s Quarters of the 1877 tall ship Elissa!
Having been affected by hurricane Ike, “Chris” has helped other victims of this devastating storm restore their furniture back to what it once was. At Woven, we understand that being commissioned to upholster a piece of furniture imbued with family history is an emotionally driven effort and consider our services as an investments in a relationship, not just a transaction. As such, each customer’s goal is accepted as a personal challenge and we begin each project with the sharing of ideas in an optimistic setting, offer a variety of uplifting colors and patterns, up-to-date styles, and eco-friendly (green) options that will ensure great results and happy customers. You’re gonna love us!
